I carved Beth Anne's name into the bark of this Beech Tree 31 years ago. I passed by the tree recently and was happy to find that her name remains on this tree as it does in my heart.

That is the sweetest, most romantic rediscovery ever. You and Beth are my role models through and through. Thank you so much for posting the accompaning pictures. I don't have your email address and am afraid to call and interrupt your busy schedule. Give me a ring (707-815-9614) at your convenience so we can talk about how things go with your dad.
