there is a rumor bumping around that you are coming down here. I look forward to working with you... we don't have pressure treated wood here but rather wood that would sell for a fortune in the states for fine cabinetry... however we are using it for regular building... like so many solid steel studs/joists as far as weight and ability to nail are concerned.

Alex, I'm happy to know that you at least realize the value of the wood you are using. Using it without recognition would be even worse. Actually, I think one could argue that using great Peruvian wood for simple purposes in Peru is better than exporting it for more exotic purposes in the U.S.

Ted, I enjoyed seeing the inside of the schoolhouse this past weekend--it's amazing! I was sad I didn't actually get to see you, though. Hope all is well.
